Marlbo Trading Company together with Kandy Hotelier Association donated a high-end printer and a Maggie Board to the Emergency Treatment Unit of the National Hospital, Kandy today.
Mr. Rodney Armstrong the Resident Manager of Mahaweli Reach Hotel and the President of the Kandy Hoteliers Association initiated the project after identifying the urgent requirement of the ETU.
This project was initiated due to the increase of patients due to the Pandemic situation and the requirement identified by the Doctors to systematically record the inbound patient’s for better management of the ETU.
Dr Inoka Weerasinghe, Deputy Director of the National Hospital, Kandy, Consultant Orthopedic Dr H. J. Suraweera, Dr. Ajantha Ranasinghe accepted the donation on behalf of the National Hospital and Mr. M. Maniymuthu, Proprietor of Marlbo Trading Company along with Mr. Rodney Armstrong, The President of Kandy Hoteliers Association made the presentation.
