A successful evening of knowledge, technology, and industry insights at the seminar “Condition Monitoring Using Thermography and Acoustic Imaging for Measurable ROI”, jointly organized by Marlbo Trading Company and FLIR. The session brought together industry professionals to explore how advanced condition monitoring and predictive maintenance technologies can help industries improve reliability, reduce downtime, and achieve measurable ROI.
We were honoured to have Mr. Bhaskar Lala, Sales Director – Instrumentation, India, FLIR, share insights into FLIR’s global leadership, innovative solutions, and diverse industry applications, followed by Mr. David Gambarte, APAC Condition Monitoring Specialist, Teledyne FLIR, who explored Predictive Maintenance and Acoustic Imaging for early fault detection and proactive maintenance. Representing Marlbo, Mr. Shevon Liyanage, Engineer – Measuring Instruments, highlighted the benefits of predictive maintenance technologies to the Sri Lankan market, with a focus on improving reliability, reducing maintenance costs, and delivering measurable ROI.
Ultimately, the key message of the seminar was simple: move from “repair when it fails” to “identify before it fails.” By adopting the right predictive maintenance technologies, industries can make maintenance more proactive, reliable, and cost-effective.
