At the dawn of the New Year and at the initiation of Mr. Maniymuthu of Marlbo Trading Company, a programme was organised at the Auditorium of the Colombo Public Library with the participation of around 300 visually handicapped people from various parts of the Country.
This was a great opportunity to share happiness and joy at the beginning of the New Year along with the less fortunate people to preserve the humanitarian value of serving the needy.
They were all greeted with joy and happiness. They were taken care by providing hospitality, mid day meal and a token of gift to remember the occasion and for them to feel that they are not isolated from the main stream and there is someone to care for them.
It was an occasion to reflect the great humanitarian value of being some to service the needy. This event took place on 1st Day of January 2019
