Ms. Sonora Smart Dodd of US initiated the requirement and need to celebrate Father’s Day, as done for mothers, in recognition of effort made by her father a US Military official, to raise the family as a single parent. As a result, the 3rd Sunday in June was declared as Father’s Day way back in 1909. Since then, Father’s Day is celebrated across the world with the objective of realizing and honoring the contribution of fathers in the society. It is a day which celebrates the fatherhood, paternal bonds and the Un-tiredly efforts of Fathers towards their family and society.
In keeping with that tradition, the management of Marlbo celebrated Father’s Day on 21st June 2021 at the office premises. All Employees gathered to celebrate Father’s Day along with fellow employees who are Fathers and were felicitated and presented with gifts.
