A mid-day meal was organised at the residence of Mr. Maniyamuthu on 3rd January 2017. The occassion was the 102 birthday of the most Venerable Mahanayake of the Amarapura Maha Nikaya, Agga Maha Panditha Davuldena Gnanissara Thero. The Venerable Maha Nayaka Thero most kindly accepted the invitation of Mr. Maniymuthu and obliged with his presence accompanied by other monks.
On this occassion, Seth Pirith was chanted by Venerable monks bestowing blessing on Mr. Maniymuthu, his family and other present.
